Hillsdale House
Hillsdale House was conceived for an artist who loves battered finishes, vintage pieces, and colour, inspiring an interplay of modern design and rusticity throughout. The design team crafted a relaxed, welcoming home where the old-meets-new dichotomy becomes a defining feature.

The quaint Tudor facade gives little indication of the bold rear addition, where broad, angular lines and wall-to-wall glazing maximize indoor–outdoor connectivity and create a sense of expansiveness rarely found in 1920s architecture. Inside, the team carefully avoided cluttering the modern volumes, allowing the palette to shift thoughtfully from space to space. Splashier colours animate the four bedrooms and basement art studio, while the main floor is layered with understated earth tones and evocative textures for a calm, grounded atmosphere.
