Art-Led Interiors
Created for an intimate evening with the design and architecture community, Art-Led Interiors is a series of conceptual vignettes that investigates what happens when art is the starting point for a room, not the final layer. Each digitally crafted space treats a single artwork or sculptural form as the anchor for proportion, colour, and light, illustrating how art and interior design can collaborate to evoke emotion and heighten the user experience.

Developed for an audience of over 150 design and architecture professionals, Art-Led Interiors explores an integrative approach to art in interiors, where pieces are considered as part of the architecture rather than as afterthoughts. Each vignette begins with a work of art—its form, texture, and mood guiding the composition of portals, planes, lighting, and furnishings that surround it. The resulting rooms range from quiet, gallery-like corridors to enveloping salons and contemporary living spaces, each with its own narrative and emotional register.
Through this sequence, the project demonstrates how art can define a colour palette, establish a focal point, and set the overall tone of a space while still supporting function and comfort. By treating art, architecture, and lighting as equal partners, Art-Led Interiors reflects Sheree Stuart Design’s commitment to interiors that feel both curated and deeply personal, blurring the line between exhibition and everyday living.
